How many ways do we use Roots in our culture, in our language? Where are your roots? I.m deep-rooted in this community! My roots go back four generations.

Roots of a plant are the intersection of plant and it’s growing medium – soil. Every plant will grow it’s own particular root system that is encoded in the plant. Not much you can do. Have a look at the two pictures below. The first picture shows an example of the variety of root systems. The second shows how a plant’s root system changes and reacts to soil conditions.
